Neil Mitchill is Pratt & Whitney's vice president and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for leading the company's Finance function with specific responsibility for financial planning, accounting and controls, cost reduction and supporting the flawless execution of Pratt & Whitney's key priorities during this period of unprecedented growth.
Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney in September 2016, he served as United Technologies Corp's Corporate Vice President, Controller where he was responsible for global accounting and controls for UTC, establishing and monitoring accounting policies and procedures, and supervising the maintenance of accounts and records. Neil also oversaw Global Financial Services, including finance shared service centers.
He joined UTC in 2014 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), where he spent 17 years and held Client Service as well as Lead Partner roles for UTC Aerospace Systems, Carrier, Sikorsky and UTC Corporate for more than 10 years. In addition to client responsibilities at PwC, Neil led the Hartford Office Products & Services Assurance Practice.
Neil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Providence College and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves on the Executive Board of Directors of Xavier High School in Middletown, Connecticut.
